How I Work With Educators & Schools

Every educator arrives with a commitment.

A classroom full of children who deserve to read. A sense that something in the instruction isn't landing. A desire to do better, paired with the frustration of not knowing exactly how.

I partner with teachers and schools to bring the Science of Reading off the page and into practice and in ways that are evidence-based, deeply practical, and respectful of everything educators are already carrying. (And that’s a lot, I know from personal experience).

Each engagement is tailored to where your teachers are, and where your students need them to be.

We begin with what's already working.

Professional Development Workshops

Hands-on, Science of Reading–aligned workshops designed to equip K–5 teachers with the tools, frameworks, and confidence to transform their literacy instruction. Sessions are tailored to your school or district's specific needs and grounded in the latest evidence-based practices.

1:1 Teacher Mentoring

Individualized coaching for educators ready to deepen their understanding of structured literacy and implement Science of Reading practices in their classrooms. Through ongoing support and guided reflection, we work together to close the gap between research and real classroom practice.

Some schools are ready for something deeper.

A district committed to change. A leadership team asking hard questions about what their teachers know, what their students need, and whether the two are aligned.

I partner with schools and districts to audit current literacy practices, identify gaps in Science of Reading implementation, and build a clear, actionable path forward. Together we establish assessment protocols, develop instructional frameworks, and create the conditions for lasting, evidence-based change, not just in individual classrooms, but across an entire school culture.

This is the work that moves the needle for every child in the building.

We begin with an honest look at where you are.

How I Work With Families

Every family arrives with a story.

A question that won’t quite settle.
A concern that feels harder to name than it should.
A child who is trying.

I partner with families to support literacy development in ways that are informed, compassionate, and grounded in research. Each engagement is thoughtfully tailored, not just to a child’s learning profile, but to the rhythms and realities of your family.

We begin with clarity.

Individualized Literacy Planning

When families are ready for a plan, we build one carefully.

We identify strengths.
We name areas for growth.
We outline practical next steps aligned with how children learn to read.

The goal is not urgency.
It is alignment while sprinkling in the joy all along the way!

Literacy Intervention & Tutoring

For families seeking targeted support, we design instruction based on assessment data and grounded in evidence-based practices.

Sessions are structured and explicit, paced in a way that protects both skill-building and confidence.

Progress will feel steady and personal to the young reader.

Parent Education & Coaching

Sometimes the most powerful shift happens when caregivers feel equipped.

These sessions focus on demystifying reading development, building confidence, and offering realistic strategies that fit into daily life, not add to it.
